I captured this Whooper Swan in the City Hall pond in Reykjavik, Iceland last February. Since the pond was not frozen, there was so much waterfowl - things we had never seen in the USA. We watched a while and then saw this swan swim over to the water inlet for a drink. I thought it was pretty funny, but it only lasted a minute.

This is a beautiful, fun picture. A slight crop to decrease the dead space behind the swan or even a vertical crop, and a vignette would help in bringing attention to the subject.   Posted: 03/02/2025 13:01:20
Thanks! I am working on getting better with my vignetting!   Posted: 03/10/2025 18:08:07
Cindy,
Nice catch of this action. Your edits were a considerable improvement. I like the drops caught falling with a faster shutter speed.   Posted: 03/04/2025 17:44:53

Thanks! I did pick a shot showing the falling drops as I liked that, too.   Posted: 03/10/2025 18:08:42
