About the Image(s)
For this month I decided to work with an old photo I took on Oahu. The bird was a wild bird I photographed at the Honolulu Zoo. For editing I first cropped the image and tried to mess with the coloring. I saw everyone's feedback on the previous flower photo and so I tried to keep the bird colors a bit more realistic which was a little difficult because the bird was a metallic blue color. There are a few bright spots in the head crest and I can't decide if I find those distracting. Any and all feedback on that is greatly appreciated.

Jacob,
I like that every part of the bird is clearly in focus. I don't think the lighter spots on the head are distracting at all. I might crop in from the right and left so from the left a bit more.   Posted: 01/06/2025 23:53:24

Jacob, this is your best bird picture so far. Sharpness and color are great. I would crop about half of the dead space on the right.   Posted: 01/08/2025 20:52:49

I definitely like this one & think you nailed it with the colour.   Posted: 01/11/2025 02:05:24

I like how sharp this is. And I would have cropped a little more off the left and not so much above his head. So subjective! Is this possibly a red-vented bulbul?   Posted: 01/16/2025 01:10:04
