I’ve recently started a new job in a totally new career. Case managing in the aged care sector. So I’ve been doing a lot of learning & not getting to my photography. I did decide to take a break & head to the pond across the road to photograph ducklings. Didn’t get any shots I was happy with but I did get this juvenile butcher bird.
I’ve cropped considerably. Used AI to remove the one branch. I did have a go at the little twig near its foot but couldn’t get it to look good. I’ve lightened & put a very small vignette on it.

The bird is sharp and well portrayed. And you have done a good job eliminating the distracting branches.

I think this is a nice photo. The improvement with each edit has greatly improved the image. I think you did very good using everyone's feedback. I do not think there is much I can add about how to improve the image. Posted: 12/16/2024 19:14:46
