About the Image(s)
I had the good fortune to attend a photo workshop in Alaska, where we shot brown bears catching salmon. While mom was doing all the work (sound familiar?), these two cubs got into a wrestling match! We were on a boat about 40 yards away.
Settings: Canon R7 with a 150-500mm lens shot at 370mm, 1/2000 sec, f6.3, ISO 6400. In post processing I used the usual LRC sliders and of course I cropped it a lot.

David - one of your best ever! Great capture with minimal post-processing necessary. Young cubs are the greatest subjects. Never a dull moment. Well done.   Posted: 12/07/2024 19:22:19

This is an excellent action shot of these two big furry critters. I really like this. I would recommend opening the shadows in that big black hole on the left. it does not have to match the rest of the foliage, just open enough to provide some detail. A radial gradient in Lightroom would likely to the job in a few seconds.   Posted: 12/08/2024 13:55:12

Oh this is just so cute! I love the pose you caught, and the fast shutter gives you that nice spray of water drops that just adds to the action. Well done.   Posted: 12/11/2024 21:07:24
