Title: The Pack Head On
I was standing at a right-angle corner shooting down a long straightaway. Of course this is the pack of racers.
Event: Tour of America’s Dairyland pro-am cycling series, East Troy, WI venue
Camera and Lens: Canon EOS 7D Mark II, 100-300mm zoom, at 260mm
Settings: 1/3200, f8, ISO 500
Original 1 ??“ Leader of the Pack ??“ was taken as the pack came close to the corner and one biker took the lead. The setting were the same as above, except the lens was at 120mm.

Gerald, indeed privileged vantage point. The straight on image has more impact since it seems that the peloton is coming straight at you. Image is sharp and there is no amputation of any of the riders. Well done. Posted: 07/10/2026 13:42:17
