The “biker girls” was taken at the Hamburg Triathlon and shows Number 32, Kaidi Kivioja from Estonia, in front in her slipstream, and Number 53, Kirsten Nuyes from the Netherlands, behind her.
Camera and Lens: EOS 5D MKIII, EF 70-200mm f2,8L IS II lens at 200mm.
Settings were f:5.6, ISO 400, at 1/2000 sec.

Hans, thanks for sharing with us the best bikers in this peloton. The first three are in focus in spite of your f/5.6 and the rest in the background are out of focus which is unavoidable. The espectators in the background complements the image. Posted: 11/06/2024 21:59:13
Hans, I like the way the first three are in focus and the rest are blurred, making them less important in the image. I also like your shooting position looking straight down the track and keeping some separation between the leaders. I do wonder why the spectators at the front are looking away as though they are not interested in the bikers. Bruce Posted: 11/07/2024 05:54:59
Hans, thanks for sharing the photo of the bikers. Great color and clarity and love the blur past the first three bikers given f/5.6 as Isaac shared. When I see the spectators, I do agree with Isaac as well that they complement the image. It seems they are so engaged they are looking for who's next further down the track.
