About the Image(s)
For no particular reason, I bent down and took a photo of this pigeon while photographing in the City Mall last weekend. It wasn't until I got home and opened the file on my computer that I noticed the two sets of human legs in the background and that all three sets of legs, humans and pigeon, were all walking in step. I think the word is "anthropomorphism."
The timing was a fluke. Tech stuff: Camera Canon R5 with a 50mm lens. 1/160sec, f/4.0, ISO 100

Totally in sync, 1-2, 1-2, there they go. Great image.   Posted: 11/11/2025 04:59:05
Very unusual but personally, amputations do not work for my inexperienced view point, as far as street photography is concerned. I find that the "out of focus people in the background ", do not contribute to the scene and is distracting to my personal point of view.? As I get educated along the way, I could possibly be shown different ways of looking at street images.   Posted: 11/11/2025 06:53:34
When I looked at this image, the very thing that caught my attention was the sync of feet and legs. It is a timing that rarely happens even in street photography. If this were edited to focus on the pegeon's head and add a bit of contrast and definition, it would have made a more effective poster. Very good, I like it.   Posted: 11/12/2025 04:43:10
very interesting image. I would suggest a little more cropping below the knees, so that we can read 3 levels depending on the depth of field. well done, Martin!   Posted: 11/12/2025 11:06:29
