About the Image(s)
We were driving through Ethiopia's streets at the Omo Valley. So, I was shooting from inside, calculating how I will finally. My camera is a Nikon Z6ii, and the lens is 24-70. I had to set high ISO and fast speed. The landscape was very interesting, and a problem often raised is the people's dark skin colour and the bright sun.

A very interesting scene and capture. Two sides of life are shown, one that moves along faster and the other that must take its time.
I like the light, the mood, and the contrast. Good work.   Posted: 07/08/2025 11:22:47

Thank you Cisco. I appreciated.   Posted: 07/09/2025 17:49:01
A way of sharing a road. In one side of the road, a relative modern transportation network, delivering goods? The other side it is the modest walk and biking struggling with the conditions. The dust surrounding them obscures the background, intriguing.
A good story and image.
I think I prefer the original, because of the definition of detail.   Posted: 07/09/2025 21:20:06

Nearly the 1/4 of the jurney's photos are framed by the inside of the car. some of them I would like them as it shot for the same reason, but I avoid it...   Posted: 07/17/2025 08:36:28
This is a great depiction of everyday life in rural Ethiopia. The road is shared by vehicles, a boy on a bicycle herding his cows and two donkeys.... and there is more happening in the background. There is plenty of action and a view of real life in this part of the world
Well done

Living in Africa this scene tells a story of everyday life in the rural areas. Nice mood and you have successfully captured the moment including the atmosphere. Well done.   Posted: 07/13/2025 07:53:02

I really like this image - it captures an interesting scene where a truck shares the road with wild animals. The dusty air adds a sense of contrast and a feeling of a mixed environment.   Posted: 07/18/2025 14:41:13
Tom I want to thank you for your comment. I am glad you feel the environment as I shot.   Posted: 07/24/2025 14:45:02
Marevi, so nice to see you back with us! You give new meaning to the phrase "drive-by shooting" hahaha. I like the cropping you did on the image, and there is a nice DOF. Your image is documentary in nature, giving us literally a snapshot of time. The contrast of sharpness in the foreground to haze due to dust in the background creates a sense of wonder about the group of people further down the road. Why did you choose to soften the clouds?   Posted: 07/18/2025 16:15:48
Hi, Trey! I am glad to be back, too. As you will notice, I am always on the road... and yes drive-by shooting! The whole work of this trip was nearly only a documentary one. I did't soften the clouds, but as I croped it, the lowest clouds were lighter   Posted: 07/24/2025 14:50:53
