About the Image(s)

I took this photo in 2017 when my wife and I visited Cuba. We were having lunch with the tour group on the first floor of a local hotel in Santiago de Cuba when I noticed this lady standing on the balcony of the house across the street. I have cropped it quite severely to remove the surrounding distractions. I like the way the curtains (drapes) of the dining room frame her. Tech stuff: Canon 5DMark3, f/5.6, 1/200, ISO 200, Lens Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 IS USM @ 105mm.

A perfect frame from across the street(?) Attractive colours, particular to Caribbean places. Good contrast.   Posted: 05/08/2025 09:31:05

how beautifully framed is the lady with the curtain forming a theatrical setting!!!   Posted: 05/09/2025 14:26:30

A huge crop from the original image and one wonders what caught the lady's attention . Was she pensive or intriqued ? Nicely observed.   Posted: 05/11/2025 07:40:58
