This was taken i an old, abandoned school. I was drawn to the textures , range of tones and light in this scene. Settings: f/11, 1/40, ISO 6400, 44 mm focal length.

Cindy, you always find such interesting, textured (grungy, in a good way) scenes to capture. Your tonal variation is well handled - even the bright light coming in through the windows isn't blown out and provides perfect illumination across the frame. Excellent detail and variation in the textures creates interest. The dark at the top of the stairs evokes a sense of mystery - what's up there? Posted: 07/18/2024 23:33:34
I agree this is a really cool photo. I love the B&W. I love the mystery and texture. I did tone down the windows to put more focus on stairs. I am not saying better, just something different. Nice job. Posted: 07/29/2024 14:36:14
