About the Image(s)

This is an image of a Gothic style, Catholic, cathedral located in the port town of Cobh, Co Cork. Construction began in 1868 and wasn’t completed until 1919…funds were a major issue as the country had been impoverished and depopulated by a famine, particularly in the Catholic community. This port town was the final berth of the ill fated Titanic. Cobh is now a bustling docking port for cruise liners.
The image was taken in very bright conditions by a drone with fixed f1.8, 24mm lens and shutter speed of 1/6400. Processing in Lightroom consisted of cropping, denies and exposure adjustments.

Hello Ger. You've taken to the air again for another beautiful photo. What type of file does the drone camera produce: jpg, Tiff, Raw,...? I assume you control the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO?
Thanks.   Posted: 10/09/2026 16:49:57
