Charles, an interesting story about sweeper cars - aw, the good old days! I think the BW works very well here, taking the image from a snapshot to more of an art photograph while keeping the story-telling aspect. You have achieved good tonal range in the conversion. Composition is also good with the car slightly off centre, moving into the frame and the two workers captured communicating with each other. You have a nice tonal range and composition. You did a nice job of removing the white poles which could have been a distraction. I like the color version, too. The monochrome treatment gives a nostalgic feel and documents history.   Posted: 08/09/2026 21:46:32
