Charles, an interesting story about sweeper cars - aw, the good old days! I think the BW works very well here, taking the image from a snapshot to more of an art photograph while keeping the story-telling aspect. You have achieved good tonal range in the conversion. Composition is also good with the car slightly off centre, moving into the frame and the two workers captured communicating with each other. Do you have some details about your post-processing?   Posted: 08/08/2026 19:57:23

Hey Charles, very nice image of the sweeper-that's a great venue and your B&W conversion gives a timeless feel. Nice composition and overall tonal range! As it turns out I posted an old slide conversion of mine from Cass Scenic RR in the 90's currently in my group 11...great minds...   Posted: 08/09/2026 20:11:39

You have a nice tonal range and composition. You did a nice job of removing the white poles which could have been a distraction. I like the color version, too. The monochrome treatment gives a nostalgic feel and documents history.   Posted: 08/09/2026 21:46:32

Good documentary image, Charles….. for me the colour version is vastly more engaging.. there's less activity in the mono .   Posted: 08/19/2026 23:38:18
