This is shot with my Nikon D300 I had converted to Infared. I was out shooting trying it out and trying to get getting some good images. This was shot with my 50mm, F1.8 at 1/125 of a sec, F/11 at ISO 200.

James, I have always liked infrared and this image is no exception. The foliage and the clouds glow and the tonal range seems well handled. To me, the composition is a bit "top" heavy and the (Canada?) goose a bit too close to the bottom of the frame. I might crop up from the bottom to take out the bird entirely and make the image more of a panorama. Posted: 05/10/2025 19:31:51
