About the Image(s)
I was in downtown Denver, Colorado shooting street photos about 2 weeks ago. I saw this guy coming and looked at the building as if that was what I was shooting photos of. When he looked right at me, I kept looking at the building as to make it seem that it was what I was photographing. Shot with a Nikon D750, 24-70mm zoom at 70mm. Shutter was 1/80 of a second at f/4, iso 640 (aperture priority).

Technically handled so well - great focus, contrast, range of tones and exposure. The only thing that is a little distracting is the tilt of the window (I like the verticals straight). I also wish you hadn't cut him off at the knees. I think a wider shot would give some context - I am not sure what story you are telling with this photo.   Posted: 04/10/2025 16:02:25
I prefer the BW version of this image and agree with Cindy's comments. I also wonder if waiting a couple of seconds before releasing the shutter so that we could read the printing on the window behind him would have added to the story or created a distraction - just curious.   Posted: 04/15/2025 02:52:18
