I really like the black and white with the reflections sharp in the sunglasses. You did a good crop with what you had. Tells a good story wondering what style of music he is playing. There are some bright spots I tried to tone down some. Nice job.   Posted: 12/14/2024 17:04:21

Charles, I too like the BW version of this. The reflection in his glasses, I think, is what makes the story. I like James' softening treatment of the bright areas. Good job cropping out many of the distracting elements but, if possible, I would like to give the back of his head a little more room. Nicely done!   Posted: 12/17/2024 01:29:34

Tells an interesting story and your crop was quite good. I like the monochrome version, but also the color too. You have nice details. Darkening the bright areas is a good idea as my eye is pulled away from the reflection (which is the focal point, I believe) to the bright trumpet at the bottom.   Posted: 12/19/2024 15:52:03
