Last egg in the carton. Oh well one will have to do this time. Made with the trusty iPhone and converted to BW with Luminar Neo software. Setting on the capture all automatic and converson needed only minior adjustment. The original looks the same as the submission.

I very simply image of an everyday object. I like the textures and tones. Nice idea. I tried to darken the background and a slightly closer crop. Just an idea. Posted: 12/14/2024 19:43:09
Chuck, what a fun image! It took me a few seconds to figure out what it was (before I looked at the title). Nice tones and texture on the carton juxtaposed with the smoothness of the egg shell. Just a thought, but I wonder how it would work to place the egg in a more foreground position in the carton so that the entire background could be the textured cardboard? What a simple yet great idea! Love the texture of the carton and smoothness of the egg. You handled the exposure very well. I agree with James' suggestion to darken the background. I would make it black to tie in with the black hole in the carton and make the egg stand out more. Posted: 12/19/2024 16:05:48
