About the Image(s)
I have family living in a suburb of Barcelona. This suburb has a very wide street including two dual traffic lane and two tram lanes. I practice my panning there whenever I visit….. super wide street and lots of motorcycles. This image was taken recently on a very cloudy day. I processed this image using Topaz to Denoise and a Lightroom preset, BW Punch.
Canon R7 ….18mm to 150mm kit lens, 1/50, f11, ISO 250

Welcome, Ger. I, too, like this image. The panning is, as James said, well handled with lots of space left in front for the rider to zip into. The background nicely frames the subject and gives the image context without being overbearing. I like James edit.   Posted: 11/11/2024 00:53:40

Lorna took the words right out of my mouth. The darker version by James does make the image more user freindly as the whites are subdued. An action shot well done.

Great job panning, while working with a shutter speed that showed the rotation of the wheels. The dark subject reads well against the mid to light greys in the background.   Posted: 11/19/2024 00:38:33

Excellent panning. You conveyed motion while keeping the rider and bike sharp and focused. I, too, like James' edit of darkening the background. Well handled.   Posted: 11/19/2024 15:51:58
