About the Image(s)

This month I was trying to learn how to make a composite image. This photo is a combination of 4 images. The fireworks were shot with a 200-600mm lens at 600mm, ISO 100, f11, and a 10 second exposure. The 600mm lens was used for I was quite some distance away from the fireworks. The flag was shot with a 20-70mm lens at 70mm ISO of 125 and f4 with a shutter of 1/500.

I combined the images in PS moving them around until I liked the position, doing this for each photo. The flag photo was the last to be added but I removed the background before adding it to the photos. All the layers / photos were blended by using lighten in the layers tab. It was a fun project and a great learning experience. Thanks to YouTube it really pointed me in the right direction on how to do this in Photoshop.
