Danielle,
I'm a huge fan of bugs on flowers! I think it gives the viewer something more to appreciate and it tells the story of pollination. The background blur is excellent! it works well with the lavender, purple and yellow of the flower and bee. My suggestion for improvement would be to sharpen the bee. It is a little soft. You can select the bee using a mask in LRC and then boost the clarity slider to taste.   Posted: 07/08/2026 14:13:23

The flower and bee are not as sharp as I would like. David has suggested how you might sharpen this photo in post processing. You should chase this bee again using a smaller aperture (f/11 or f/16). You may want to reduce the exposure a tad as you have lost detail in the highlights.   Posted: 07/13/2026 22:14:53
