I took this picture inn Costa Rica, which has a number of very unusual mushroom species. I really liked the way that the light played on the edges of these mushrooms. Would I be better off rendering this in B&W?
Settings: Canon R5 with a Tamron 18-400mm lens, shot at 400mm. 1/100 sec, F10, ISO 2500. I used the usual LRC sliders in post processing.

I like this image. As to B&W ... I think it would certainly work as a monochrome image, but I enjoy seeing the subtle shades of color in the mushrooms themselves. Posted: 07/27/2025 18:33:56
