About the Image(s)
This is the Generator House at Carrie Furnace in Rankin, PA. It is a former ironworks for United States Steel. With the huge expanse of aged brick, grafitti, and catwalk, it made me think of a stage set for an Off-Broadway play.

I like this photo. It captured my attention and drew me in for a much longer look. The bright mural (graffiti?) in the center captures and holds the eye. At the same time the brick wall and the details in the ceiling are very sharp and possess very fine detail, but because it is all a very similar subdued color, it is not detracting the eye away from the central mural. I would have expected the colorful graffiti on the right to draw my eye away from the central mural, but it just doesn't do that. I am really at a loss to explain this, perhaps it is the smaller size, perhaps the chairs in front of it. A very nice capture!   Posted: 04/15/2025 04:02:38

This photo is pleasant for my eye. Love the colours especially the colourful graffiti. I would perhaps attempt to reduce the saturation of the image slightly as see how it would look, especially the yellowish hue.   Posted: 04/20/2025 20:29:23
