About the Image(s)
This was on the Kancamagus Highway, I thought the foliage was absolutely beautiful. Used my 28-300 lens, with ISO-400, f-10 and 1/100 sec.

Hi Peggy
This is a beautiful location. It's hard to beat an s-curve in a river running off into a corner with beautiful northeastern fall foliage sprinkled in there!
A few consideration points - the blues and greens feel a little heavy. I tried the white balance selector on some of those nice rocks bottom middle of the image and that did the trick. A subtle vignette seemed help my attention on that awesome river too.

This is a great photo of the stream. The detail of the rocks in the stream, the colors of the foliage beginning to show fall colors, and the detail of the sky all work together.

Peggy.
You've got all of the elements of a great landscape shot. You've clearly got foreground (the rocks), mid-ground (the trees), and background (the sky). You've got a great leading line (the stream) to guide our eyes through the image. Great catch. My only suggestion might be to shoot at a narrower aperture, like f16, instead of f10. You can ecover some of the sharpness by using the clarity slider and dehaze slider in LRC. You might also try using topaz sharpen AI.   Posted: 11/21/2024 22:18:17

Lovely composition, especially the way the river creates an S-curve. A little tip: sometimes darkening the image slightly helps emphasize the colors.   Posted: 11/22/2024 01:13:27
