Perfect exposure with Full Rendition of zones from 1-9 and a very strong composition. Wonderful sharpness with details of the water falls on the distant dark mountain. The only change that I see is the foreground is in my opinion a bit too much (in fact it could be a separate beautiful picture.) I feel that the foreground fights with the mountains and the sky I would try cropping at the long horizontal rock on the right side. Print it big   Posted: 07/08/2024 18:52:29

Hi Trung - What an excellent capture you made. I really like the foreground that takes you right into the rest of the image and adds a feeling of depth. I also like the contrast between the rocky, textured foreground and the glass-like lake. One possible suggestion would be to crop out part of the sky. The sky is great, but to me the mountains, lake and foreground are the real attention getters in this shot. Cropping down to just below the long, skinny cloud might help to emphasize the most interesting parts of the shot, yet you would still have a beautiful sky in the image. Great shot!   Posted: 07/08/2024 21:54:22

Hi Trung, what a lovely landscape! I think that both Al's and Jeff's suggestions about alternative crop would work well. I would lean towards cropping off part of the sky because the foreground is so interesting, and as Jeff says, leads the viewer into the image.   Posted: 07/10/2024 06:31:02

This is a wonderful landscape photo - very well composed and exposed. I agree with the sky crop - it helps also to move the horizon from dead center and put it more at the upper third.

I see you shot this at 1/25th sec. did you use a tripod??   Posted: 07/12/2024 03:26:17

Hi Trung,
I really like this landscape. It has everything my eye wants to see in an image like this. The foreground gives the lake and mountains a sense of context. The reflexion in the lake gives it a sense of centering for the transition the mountains and the clouds (which as I see it - really add to the effect).

All in all, to my eye, a great landscape. Thanks very much for sharing it with us.   Posted: 07/27/2024 01:28:25
