About the Image(s)
These are some tulips in my aunt's front yard - the sun was going down and creating some direct sunlight on the blooms, along with some deep shadows that I thought might create a good B&W image with the lines and texture. My adjustments were to switch to B&W with a red filter to create more contrast in the tones, and I cropped the image all the way around to bring the focus to the subject. I played with the contrast and had the blooms almost completely white, but came back to this version.
I am looking forward to the group's thoughts and suggestions, especially as regards the contrast.
