What a fine landscape, Robert! The composition lets the mighty mountain rule the scene, the foreground and mid-ground offer interesting layers, and the sky is lovely. - I wonder if it is possible to tease out some details in the brightest highlights?   Posted: 05/07/2025 17:36:29

Thanks, Kirsti!
I will try to enhance some of those highlights as you suggested. They are a little muddled.   Posted: 05/12/2025 02:09:38

Hi Robert - It's fun when I see a photo and the first word that comes to mind is "wow". The mountain peak against that sky is spectacular. Also, I like how the bright white area in the top left forms a great diagonal line right to the mountaintop and down the other side. To my eye, the foreground seems a bit bright and may draw viewers' eyes away from the subject. You might consider a version slightly darkening the foreground. Great capture!   Posted: 05/07/2025 22:06:03

Thanks, Jeff,
I see what you are referring to. I will rework the photo foreground to see if I can improve it.   Posted: 05/12/2025 02:10:25

Hi Robert. What a stunning scenic view! The cloud formations complement nicely with snow covered mountain peak and the diagonal layers in the foreground. My eye is drawn to 3 areas of brightness on the left side of the image - foreground, mountain peak, and the sky. While I'm not certain of the luminosity values in these regions, if possible adjusting at least the foreground would help direct the attention toward the mountain and sky which is beautiful.   Posted: 05/11/2025 14:56:36

Thanks, Barbara,

I will work on your, Kirsti and Jeff's suggestions - all very good ones and I'm sure it will help improve the photo.

Thanks!
