About the Image(s)
On a visit to Yosemite last May, we had a late spring snow that gave a bit different look to “Tunnel View” than what we’d seen on the previous days. The shot was taken on a Fuji X-T3 with a 16mm lens (F8.0, ISO 400, 1/250).

Hi Jeff, I think that this is the most beautiful image of the classic view I have ever seen, including Ansel Adams. The light coming through the clouds, the luminous new snow defining the trees in the valley, the mountains disappearing in haze in the horizon, and, is it Bridalveil Fall, in the shadows. I would love to have this framed on my wall.   Posted: 03/09/2025 01:24:57

Hi Jeff,
Kirsti beat me to the Ansel Adams comparison. This is a spectacular shot rivaling any professional ones I have seen of the same location. I was there back in 2016 and struggled to get the lighting and location combination as you have successfully done here. There's nothing I can add that could possibly help to improve it.

Thanks for the kind words Robert. I was just fortunate to be there as the storm came through!   Posted: 03/15/2025 17:47:08
Hi Jeff. Well I have nothing to say but wow. The image is mesmerizing. The strategic placement of light draws me in, allowing my eye to explore the scene without leaving. It's truly stunning.
