About the Image(s)
The image of the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia was captured in the early morning, a time when fog often rises from the river. My initial plan was to photograph the moonset, but the weather presented fog and overcast skies instead. I processed the image using Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro and added a stroke in PS.

This is a wonderfully strong photo. I would experiment by slightly darkening some of the deep shadows and /or increasing the structure just a bit   Posted: 01/08/2025 22:21:36

Hi Barbara, and welcome to the group! I think that the arch and the diagonal of the bridge against, and disappearing into, the fog make a handsome image. I like the contrast between the softer elements of Nature and the precise sharp man-made structures.   Posted: 01/10/2025 14:27:39

Hi Barbara,
Let me start out by also welcoming you to the group and you have started out with a bang -what a wonderful photo! My only suggestion would be to possibly increase the contrast of the lower section of the bridge, but otherwise, I have nothing to add to improve this wonderful photo.
I'm curious as to where you were standing when you took the shot?
