I took this one, During a dance competition. Caught the dancer just hold her spinning movement and pose. Still in the dark light, try to compose and shot, exciting and fun.
Nikon D810, 70-200mm f/2.8, @200mm, ISO 560, 1/125s,
Post proc: severe crop, minor adjustment, shadow, exposure, text, then run thru topaz denoise.

You captured the dancer in a very interesting pose. You chose the right shutter speed to freeze the action at just the right time and you have the ISO high enough to capture the scene in low light with good color. Great job! Posted: 12/02/2021 15:44:20
I agree with Phyllis's comments. The dancer is nicely posed and sharp. The background is non-distracting and the color matches parts of the dancer's outfit. If I were make any suggestions, it might be to reduce the yellows in the white balance. Posted: 12/02/2021 15:55:03
There are some beautiful colours in this image and I agree with David and Phyllis about the dancer's pose. It is a pity that you did not capture part of the dancer's right hand because the arm seems to be a stump. The dancer has a lovely expression on her face and the fingers are very elegant. An interesting shot with an interesting pose and expression. I agree with Robert that the gesture of her hand and fingers by her face is lovely. The other arm is a bit awkward and the color of her face seems really off to me. Posted: 12/16/2021 09:34:59
