About the Image(s)
It was taken on a mobile phone when on a local walk. I have experimented with a number of post-production techniques including luminosity masking followed by curves, cropping and saturation adjustments and will be interested to hear members’ comments.

This is a pleasant capture of an old farm with interesting details and colors. The dramatic sky also adds a sense of dynamics. My suggestion would be to crop the image to eliminate the puddles (e.g., 16x9). I would also suggest darkening the sky to make it more dramatic and adding a vignette. I took a stab at it and came out with this image.   Posted: 12/01/2025 18:58:28
Thanks David, I like your version, particularly the enhancement to the sky which has added a bit of drama. I left the puddle in because I like reflections but I have to concede that it is an insignificant reflection and does not add a great deal to the picture. I cloned the bottom of the puddle to stop it from dribbling out of the picture because in my original crop part of the puddle disappeared off the bottom of the frame so I cloned part of the road back in.   Posted: 12/03/2025 17:14:47
In retrospect, I think I cropped off too much from the bottom. Maybe it would be better to leave some of the puddles in.   Posted: 12/03/2025 19:09:13
I love old buildings like this. You captured them well with a nice sky the seems to be pointing to the buildings. I would leave the puddles in - I like the reflections in them.   Posted: 12/05/2025 03:10:18
