About the Image(s)
The St. Louis Art Museum had an exhibit of these amazing cars. I only had my iPhone so that is what I used (the best camera is the one you have with you!). I took the photo into Photoshop and cropped it, eliminated the background distractions and reflections on the car. I thought of converting it to monochrome because of the range of tones from pure white to pure black. For me, the monochrome version showed the details more and therefore I thought a more interesting photo.

I love this shot of an old Bugatti. The wide-angle lens exaggerates the front fenders so they almost look like wings. The front headlights and horn are perfectly symmetrical and glisten in the light. The B&W treatment works well, too. My only suggestion would be to darken or clone out the backdrop behind the car like you've done with the other background elements. Very nice image!   Posted: 12/01/2025 19:11:50
I like the way you have photographed the Bugatti to illustrate the monster that it is. I think I will try this technique next time we go to a motor museum. I agree with David about cloning out the "Paris 1925" sign which I think is detracting from the car which is the overwhelming subject of the picture but it is a great image nonetheless.   Posted: 12/03/2025 17:25:38
