About the Image(s)

I shot this "mature subject" of a bee-on-a-flower while I was trying to shoot the last of my dahlias for the year. However, there were so many bees on the dahlias, I kept shoo-ing them away. I thought this image worked because the flower was so colorful and the bee was in a good position. I didn't do much post processing, only some cropping and a little increase in saturation. Shot with a full-frame mirrorless camera and 180mm macro lens on a tripod. Exposure was 1/200 sec @ f/9.0 and ISO 800.
