About the Image(s)

The photo was taken at Seal Rock on the central Oregon coast as the tide was washing sand around. The dark and light grains of sand were creating some interesting patterns, which I decided to photograph with my Pixel 9 Pro XL. I edited the original image with Lightroom, adding some masks to make the shape I saw in the sand pattern stand out, and cleaning up a few details. But, the pattern was essentially what was there in the sand. Maybe Neptune WAS controlling the way the water washed the sand around.
