I was walking on the riverside after a heavy rain. The caterpillar and the intrigue web pattern captures my eye. I hand held my Mobile phone Vivo V40 with f/2.8, 1/50 second and ISO 1098. Local enhancement of contrast and saturation was done in Viveza 3 and cropped in PhotoShop.

This is a lovely photo! I especially like how the dew drops on the web reflects and accentuates the spots on the caterpillar. The web, stem and leaf behind the caterpillar add strong diagonals to complement each other and give the image a sense of motion. If this photo were mine, I might slightly darken the blurred, background leaf at the bottom and the small, yellow patch on the lower right. Posted: 05/01/2025 11:25:45
Wonderful capture. Everything that needs to be sharp is - even the hairs. The drops of dew really make this special. Excellent job! I have one suggestion and that is to crop in from the right to eliminate the two bright areas that don't really need to be in the shot. Posted: 05/05/2025 15:40:22
