About the Image(s)

as I was driving in the country, I happened to see a yard full of old car. I stopped and asked the man who was outside if I could take some photos. It was overcast, getting ready to rain, so the colors were good and no harsh shadows. I used my tripod. Settings: f/16, 1/100 and 44 mm focal length.

I'm a fan of old, rusty cars and trucks, and you captured this one nicely. Because it was a cloudy day, the lighting is quite even with no harsh shadows. The processing is subtle and adds a touch of contrast. If I were to make any recommendations, it might be to crop off about half of the grassy area and maybe darken and de-saturate it a little. Very well done!   Posted: 03/05/2025 06:34:32

It's sad to see something that was probably someone's pride and joy that is now rusting away and abandoned. However they do make good photographs and you have added a bit of punch to the original which makes a more attractive image. But I'm not sure about the other vehicle being only partly in the picture (but there may have been other distractions) although it does add to the run down atmosphere.   Posted: 03/25/2025 15:47:40

The vehicle is placed in a wooded environment to create a desolate atmosphere. I would like to see more of the HDR effect of this image.
