About the Image(s)
This photo was taken out the window of the airplane as I flew to Washington, DC
last year. I did not have any window reflection that I could see. I was so surprised
that I was able to get such a nice photo of the scene with the Capitol Building in the background.
I used Lightroom to enhance the contrast, bring up the whites and
cropped to put the Jefferson Memorial Monument in the foreground.

What a great capture of the Jefferson Memorial with the Capitol building in the background. I like how the Tidal Basin frames the memorial in the foreground. Very nicely composed.   Posted: 02/03/2025 00:45:42
great shot, good capture, that put the Jefferson in the frame where it's not usually available while on the ground level.
The monochrome rendered image by Cindy, is also very nice. composition really really on point.   Posted: 02/06/2025 18:03:22

I like both images. The original is well in focus from front to back and I also like the slightly muted colours. The Jefferson Memorial stands out well in both images but particularly in Cindy's version which has really made it the absolute star of the show.   Posted: 02/07/2025 16:59:34
