About the Image(s)
This was shot at our park district event - trick or treat, as I volunteer to take pictures for the event, It was sunny, kind of hot for November,
Poor lady was busy all afternoon, dishing out Pokemon cards, :), and I took a shot just as she taking a break, with sun setting down.
Nikon mirrorless with lens 24-200mm, f/8, 110mm, iso 640,
Post: Crop, adjust light, darken the background, appy some more masks on her, to get the tone I want, then run through PS, Topaz, even try out a deep blur filter.

Your lighting reminds me of Rembrandt lighting and the rim light and auburn hightlights in her hair are quite appealing. I like the background - both color and blur affect very much. I just wish she had a better (more pleasant?) expression. She looks confused to me.   Posted: 11/03/2024 19:52:10

The lighting and colors are beautiful. I might suggest cropping a little off the left side. When I first looked at this picture, I thought the lady had fangs. So, you might want to clone out that white spot on her lower lip.   Posted: 11/04/2024 12:56:09

The lighting is attractive and the background pleasantly diffused although a little more blur might be better. I would probably clone some foliage into the black area behind her head and tell her a funny story to cheer her up. Halloween has become big over here but I have to admit that I don't really understand it.   Posted: 11/12/2024 16:23:07

This image is all about lighting and bokeh. Interesting picture.   Posted: 11/28/2024 02:58:54

I agree that the lighting and colors are beautiful. One thing I noticed is that there appears to be a line coming off the top of her head at a diagonal. If you blur the background more that might take care of it, or you could just edit it out.   Posted: 11/28/2024 19:47:17

This is a very interesting photo which is about a Halloween festival taken at a park event. The light creates a warm atmosphere. I feel that stronger side or backlighting may enhance the drama of your photos and moderately adjust the brightness and contrast to make the subject stand out more.
