This is a three stack HDR @.07ev. The image was shot with a super color IR converted Nikon D810 with an 85mm lens. Images were combined to create a .DNG file then edited in CLiR (Creative Light Infrared). The location was a local farm that raises sunflowers. They really go above and beyond for photographers by situating small, interesting landmarks in the field. I’ve always been drawn to rust as a photographer. Positioned among the sunflowers made the image more interesting. I always look hard at my photo submissions. Truth be told, most of my photos are shot with the ability to convert to HDR. I use the multiple shots not only to give me that option, but also as a CMA (cover MY …) Anyone else shoot this way?

What a cool shot. Something outside the box and the realm of reality. You're very fortunate to have a farmer who has a heart for photographers. I will have to look into that software. It sounds very interesting.   Posted: 03/11/2025 10:30:47

He does the same with spring flowers. And Pumpkin season. It's cool. There's an old piano, couple of couches. English phone booth.   Posted: 03/13/2025 20:20:47

Super image. The blue - orange color play works really nicely for the subject material.   Posted: 03/12/2025 14:02:51
