About the Image(s)
It’s always nice to see some sign of life amidst the crumbling steel. This is one of the foot ramps that used to be attached to a locomotive train. I was surprised to see that there was a cutout and have no idea why it was there. Didn’t take long for nature to find a way to greet the sun. Photo is five exposures @.07. Combined in Photomatix Pro.

The splash of white and green really stands out versus the red/orange of the ramp. The blend looks excellent with lots of detail. Perhaps tone down the bright spot on the right, other than that, very well done.   Posted: 02/18/2025 17:40:05
Very cool bit of seeing. The blend looks good and the eye definitely goes to the plant. I can see what Brad is referring to, but it might just take a touch of the remove tool to get that one bright patch on the right edge out. I wouldn't say no to the idea of selecting the whites on the flower and boosting the luminosity there a bit more. Nice image with good impact and interest.   Posted: 02/20/2025 18:24:07
This is nicely done and different - a sample of your creativity. Others recommended a slight change of the lower right edges being as lightly different. To realize it is steel, makes this a fine example of this kind of photography.   Posted: 02/21/2025 04:30:31
