This is an HDR drone photo of the forest near me. All of the leaves have dropped off the trees but not yet turned to a decayed brown. The denuded trees against the colorful carpet floor provided a nice contrast when seen from above. Photo was taken with a Mavic Air Pro3 camera, shot at 100’ with a 7x zoom. It is an HDR exposure (5 images). I believe the drone camera defaults to ev.07 I am able to adjust the original exposure but the two over and two under adjusts proportionately to whatever the exposure is set. I’m doing more and more with the drone. I love capturing the abstract. It gives a different perspective from what can be seen from the air.”

Love the overhead angle. The blend looks clean. I wish the greens were just confined to the center. The two more yellow tress on the left are bright enough to keep tugging at my eye. For me, your watermark is disruptive. Maybe drop the opacity and move it over to the open area in the lower right?   Posted: 12/16/2024 02:54:15

Thanks Rick. The watermark is at 75%. I used to put it left or right, but changed recently so I could post on Instagram and keep my portrait format with the name visible. Just too lazy to convert to the 1080 cube shape. Lol I'm ok with it but always trouble over where to put the brand.   Posted: 12/16/2024 11:50:45

Amazing, I would never have known you could create an HDR image from a drone in flight. I wish there were a green or yellow tree on the right side, would improve the balance.

Yes. It gives 3, 5 and seven exposures as an option. Thanks to control through GPS tha bird will stay nailed in one spot in the sky. Only time there's any real challenge is high winds.   Posted: 12/19/2024 12:48:37
