Hi Leo,
I'd like to hear about your goals for this image. To me, my eye isn't sure where to look. I don't see a central theme. A bus, a building, a few cars?   Posted: 07/18/2025 05:31:15

I agree with Bunny. I am not sure what the focus is. It is an interesting photo of the atmosphere in Hong Kong, however. If you wanted to focus more on a section, I experimented with one of several possible crops. The Iso is too high and noise too great to crop on this shot but I denoised it with Topaz to see if it is an Idea for another day. For me the double decker bus was most unique.   Posted: 07/20/2025 20:43:32
I'm a big fan of street photography, and I like how this image has captured the entirety of the scene. The clarity throughout the image really gives a sense of the scene. I live the detail and how well lit everything is. The tracks are a very strong leading line, bringing my eyes to the train, as is the shape of the building in the center of the frame. Very well done, Leo!   Posted: 07/22/2025 02:19:08
Thanks all for your comments and suggestions. My original idea was to focus on the tram. However, the cars seem to have distracted the focus.   Posted: 07/24/2025 13:18:23
Hi Leo, I like the street scene you are showing us. It shows the comings and goings of the city at night. I can see that your focus was on the bus and I like that the tower on the building right behind the bus is pointing down towards it. Your white balance is giving the shot a warm look and that is good for the evening with the city lights. I do think though, that the image might be a bit "hot" or overexposed in the highlights just a bit. I like the hustle and bustle, but feel that if you could remove the power lines and pole on the left it might let the viewers eye into the shot more and be a less distracting.   Posted: 07/26/2025 18:03:29
Good suggestions, thanks Bruce!   Posted: 07/27/2025 03:10:12
