About the Image(s)
My Camera Club has a photoshoot for dress rehearsal at the Citadel theater when they have a new play. We give them the photos on Poster boards to hang in the theater and for advertising. We get tickets to the actual performances.
I used my Canon 6D-it is full frame and good in low lighting, we cannot use extra lights. I usted a Canon 24-105 mm lens at 75mm. Speed 1/80 at F4 and ISO 1250. Edited with lightroom and Photoshop

That must be a fun photoshoot and how fortunate for your club to get the opportunity (and tickets!). Theater lighting is always hard to deal with and it looks like you have handled it well in your shot here. Although, for my taste, I might add just a touch more blue to the white balance. It appears that you are able to get pretty close to the performers and you have captured them well while keeping the background non distracting. Nice work Harley.   Posted: 03/22/2025 18:58:59
Thanks Bruce. I will try a blue shift.   Posted: 03/24/2025 20:22:16
That looks like a fun shoot. You did a good job with the lighting presented. The one thing that catches my eye is the woman's awkward position of her arm.   Posted: 03/23/2025 13:40:26
Thank you Lane. I think she was moving her hand to her chin, in a thinking type pose. Does that come across?   Posted: 03/24/2025 20:26:14
