About the Image(s)

This look was on an old shed that I came across on a property. I thought it had so much character with the scratches, wood texture and weathered look. I am assuming from the size of the lock it, that the contents weren’t extremely valuable but it was well used. Shot with a canon MK IV ISO 640, 65mm f/7.1.

Hi Lane,
This shed does indeed have a lot of character. I like the composition. Did you do any special post processing?   Posted: 01/09/2025 22:25:28

Hi Bunny,
I did my usual raw processing in LRCC and that was pretty much it .   Posted: 01/10/2025 21:39:36

I like the texture of the wood and the scratches of the wood. The lock on the door also tells the story that something may be valuable behind the door.   Posted: 01/17/2025 13:42:19

I enjoy photos like this. This one has remarkable textures presented that tell a story of use, repair and re purpose. Seems to me that the top lock is the outside of the lock to open the door from the inside. That isn't going to work with it being locked from the outside. I wonder what it would look like as a B&W or sepia?   Posted: 01/17/2025 23:02:01
