About the Image(s)
The background was an intentional movement of aspen trees. The portrait is my granddaughter. l used the background as the starting layer, then I selected the subject on the portrait and moved the selection to the background. Once moved, I used the screen mode for the portrait. I combined the layers and used a topaz filter .

Both are good photographs, but I'm not certain the aspens are the right texture to go with the face. Picking up Ian's point, I would darken the whole picture and lighten some of the texture over the face, especially the eyes. Posted: 07/10/2026 10:02:11
