About the Image(s)
I was shooting seagulls and one flew overhead. I added the sky from a previous day and made a star effect near his head.

Tom, This is simple but because of that, it gives the image a lot of impact. The crown of light is what makes it creative, of course. I like the composition, which fills the frame. It gives a feeling of an angel because of the wings and the white dove appearance. My only suggestion is to clone out the feet of the bird and just let us enjoy the beautiful feathers. Nice job. giving us a simple, yet eloquent heavenly figyre.   Posted: 12/07/2025 01:08:34
Tom, I love this departure from your usual style. You've done a great job with this capture. I find the addition of the starburst and clouds a nice compliment to this subject.   Posted: 12/08/2025 00:42:18
What a splendid shot of the seagull pinsharp and full of detail and very much 'in your face. It is also a great cotton wool sky which provides the background. Perhaps the star burst should have been totally behind thi bird?   Posted: 12/11/2025 17:03:38
Your image has lots of impact Tom. The size of the bird against the small clouds makes it feel quite enormous and very close to the viewer. Nice idea. I agree with Joan's comment about the feet as they are a bit distracting. I too wondered about the starburst which seems to be half in front and half behind the bird.   Posted: 12/15/2025 20:59:06
