About the Image(s)

The images of Busselton jetty were taken mid morning as the early morning planned shoot our group had hoped for was rained off. I was playing with the Lee Big Stopper to get some softening in the waves and ended up with quite a blur. I suppose this is altered reality??
I am aware that there are some spots on the sensor which I can attempt to remove in PS when I get home. Also there is a strange circular group of spots in the left hand corner . Are these some sort of flare from the sun I wonder. The top image was a 20 second exposure and the bottom one was 15 secs, both at f11.
I think the bottom one has slightly more detail in the clouds and the sea which I prefer.
