About the Image(s)
This is called "Memory". I put my camera on a tripod and panned horizontally at 1.8sec f/32 ISO 100. Changed the color a bit in LR/PS and added myself into the image. It's how I see the past, a bit fuzzy, as I grow older.

Tom, I like the visual simplicity of your image and the contrast between the movement of your panning and the sharpness of yourself. Normally, I would extoll the value of left-to-right visual flow through an image with a horizontal flip but in this case, placing yourself in the lower right quadrant and looking back into the soft-focus background works perfectly. Well done.   Posted: 02/05/2025 10:43:45
Hi Tom.
I can relate to the fuzziness of memory as we grow older. Your stance with hands in pockets gives you an aura of puzzlement which is quite in keeping with your idea. The panning I feel gives the impression of time travelling quickly which it seems to as we grow older. Very successful.   Posted: 02/08/2025 20:51:52

Tom, I also enjoy the simplicity of this image. The static and blurry elements combine nicely to create mystery and nicely tie together your image, gently nudged by your title.   Posted: 02/15/2025 02:23:42
Tom - I especially like the color change to the tan tomes - we all feel more like that than the fresh green as we age. But the blur is what really gets me - like memories that fade away from us. Makes me not want to get old. (Which I planned to NEVER DO! OOPS - it happened anyway!!)   Posted: 02/19/2025 22:22:07
