This is a camera raw image of tulips taken in the Keukenhof gardens in Holland in 2014. In PS Camera Raw I played with the sliders of light, color and effects, did some cropping and burning. My wife Terry says it is sensual. What do you think and what would you do differently?

Hi Henry, I love the buds in the middle and to the right of your image. The pink and green on the left keep taking my eye. I'm not quite sure what the pink is, I am thinking it's another bud, but it's a different shape to the others. I wonder if a vignette might work to darken them down. The green leaf has some bright areas that are distracting. One option would be to crop to more of a vertical panorama and remove the flower completely. I really do like the way the buds just seem to hang there and I also like the colour of the buds. Posted: 04/14/2025 23:03:07
Great flower buds in the middle and RHS but I am less enchanted by the leaves/flowers on LHS which for me probably would be better cloned out. The flowers at the bottom are just going out of focus too. Posted: 04/20/2025 12:17:34
