About the Image(s)
This a close up of the Castellum Aquae in Pompeii - a water distribution building. I slightly cropped it, sharpened and increased a bit of texture. Then flipped it through 180 degrees as I thought it looked better.

Hey Andrew, I like your image. I would love to visit Pompeii. I wish I would have seen the original because I am having trouble figuring out what you did. I can tell you what not to do. do not crop any of the image. I did and it no longer looked like a wall. I did as some sharpening to it. Your image looks more realistic, but I thought I would show you what I did. there are times when all that texture and clarity stuff works and times when I don't think it does. Nice shot.   Posted: 04/06/2025 00:14:25
Hi Andrew, you certainly found an interesting wall. I do like the fact that you flipped the image. The straight bricks look like they are pointing to the square/diamond bricks. The colours work well together too. Certainly a very interesting abstract photograph.   Posted: 04/14/2025 22:58:15
