About the Image(s)
This is an image of the moon as seen through leaves and berries on a tree. Do you think this is a good example of negative space? Is it interesting? Are the leaves and berries sharp enough? I took this at f/11, 1/500 sec, 1000 ISO. I used noise reduction, converted to B/W, and brought up the whites. The original photo was completely black until raised the exposure, and after I cropped, there was a ton of noise. Thank you.

I personally would make this a square picture of the moon and the leaves. There is nice lighting of the leaves round the edge but for me the effect is spoiled by the solid leaves in the centre.   Posted: 02/18/2025 14:48:09
Janice, I think this is a great image of the berries and the moon. I'm not sure what the concept of negative space is so I can't comment on that.   Posted: 02/20/2025 14:58:32
Wow, it's very interesting to me.. you saw the opportunity to capture an interesting image. Thanks for showing me a different takes of an ordinary object.   Posted: 02/20/2025 16:16:16
Hi Janice. This is really cool I like the negative space. I do not mind the leaves a little softer because I am drawn to the light around the berries. The leaves start to look like other shapes to me and keeps my eye longer. Really nice.   Posted: 02/20/2025 17:21:55
