About the Image(s)
Happy New Year.
I am a fan of H.G. Wells, and a fan of Black and White Photography. I captured a building in San Francisco that reminded me of something from the “Time Machine”. I converted it to Black and White and did some other magic that escapes me now, and then sharpened it. I worked hard to make the aspect good, but with buildings it is never easy.
Shot with my Nikon at iso 100, f/11 @1/125sec. 28mm lens.

Hi Don,
This is my favorite of your architecture photos. I love the lines and the angles; very futuristic.
Everything in the photo is very clean and crisp; except the lower left corner. I couldn't figure out what it is. It kept drawing my eyes there. I removed it; so it won't stand out, and I made the sky more dramatic. Do you like it?   Posted: 01/12/2025 00:14:47

Don, and Happy New Year to you. Great choice of wide angle lens and great post processing! I normally prefer color but this conversion to black and white is far and away the best way to convey this image of a time machine.   Posted: 01/12/2025 22:19:37
